MARK FISHER
MANAGING PARTNER

Mr. Fisher began his insurance career in 1985 as a Field Underwriter for New York Life Insurance Company in Fresno, California.  In addition to personal production Fisher was agency product manager for New York Life’s proprietary group health insurance product for small employers.

A family decision to relocate to North Idaho in 1992 sparked a new direction in Fisher’s career path – Independent Agent.  Within a year Fisher paired-up with Dan Crawford, another immigrant from California.  Together they would form Advanced Benefits, an independent insurance brokerage agency focused on group insurance sales and service.

Today Advanced Benefits Management employs over 25 full-time employees, manages benefits for hundreds of local employer groups, and provides benefit administration services to employers of all sizes in 5 western states.  

Fisher is past president and currently active in the Coeur d’Alene Sunrise Rotary, on the boards of North Idaho College Foundation and Excel Foundation, current president of the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce and is a member of both the North Idaho Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the North Idaho Association of Health Underwriters.


DAN CRAWFORD

MANAGING PARTNER


Prior to entering the insurance field in 1984, Dan was a police academy rookie in Torrance, California.  Opting for the safer, more thrilling adventure of insurance, Dan began his insurance career as a Medicare Auditor with Blue Cross of California.  Dan soon moved into sales and marketing with CIMS, a Blue Cross subsidiary.   Moving to Idaho in 1993, Dan met Mark Fisher and the two soon became friends and business partners, developing Advanced Benefits Management into the successful organization it is today.

  Dan enjoys all the vast opportunities that Idaho has to offer, from hunting and fishing, to skiing and boating in his spare time.  He is a member of the Rotary Club of Coeur d’Alene, on the Concerned Business of North Idaho board and resides in Hayden, Idaho.

JEAN-PAUL DUPIN
BROKER

Jean-Paul Dupin grew up in the small of town of Kingston, Idaho in the Silver Valley.  After graduating from Kellogg High School he became a Vandal at the University of Idaho.

In 1995 Jean-Paul began his insurance career with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and attended their industry leading Metropolitan University training program.  He joined Advanced Benefits Management team in 1998, and began riding the wave of Advanced Benefit’s explosive market advance.  He has continues to attend many industry seminars and conferences pursuing his own personal excellence in employee benefit planning. 

Jean-Paul is a husband and father of 3 beautiful children.  He resides in Post Falls, Idaho and is a member of North Country Chapel and Post Fall Rotarian.  In 2001 he was voted Volunteer of the year for Post Falls, served on the Post Falls Chamber Board 2002 and 2003.  In 2003 he had the opportunity to service on the City of Post Falls Comprehensive Plan Review Task Force. 

Jean-Paul is currently the Vice President of his Home Owners Association and serving on the board for United Way of Kootenai County.  His hobbies are family, saltwater aquariums, motocross racing, and camping in the great outdoors.


DOUG JAWORSKI

BROKER


Doug Jaworski is a highly committed broker professional combining extensive marketing and negotiating experience with key decision-makers of Fortune 500 companies, labor unions, municipalities, and small business owners.


He began his insurance career from the “insurance capital of the world” and hometown of Hartford, Connecticut with Aetna Life Insurance Company. During his tenure with Aetna’s Employee Benefits Division, he received training in compliance, contracts, and underwriting, before becoming a National Account Executive traveling across the United States & Canada. Doug also has held management positions with Blue Cross and American Fidelity Assurance Company.

In April 2001, Doug relocated to North Idaho to begin a career as a life & health agent/broker. He holds his insurance license in Idaho, Washington & Montana, and keeps his industry knowledge current through continuing-education classes and seminars. Doug has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, along with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Maine.

Doug resides in Coeur d’Alene with his wife Ann and 3 children, and he is a parishioner at St. Pius Catholic Church. Doug also is active in the University of Maine Alumni Association as a Class Agent. Additionally he volunteers his time locally for Coeur d’Alene High School athletics, Hayden Parks & Recreation Department, KMC’s Festival of Trees, and sits on the Long Range Planning Committee for School District #271.

TRACEY YOST
BROKER

Tracey Yost began his career in the health industry several years ago.  Before coming on board with Advanced Benefits Management, Tracey embraced the technology side of the industry that encompassed website development for independent insurance agencies and industry specific software sales and design.

In striving to always provide the best and most accurate information Tracey frequently attends consumer-driven seminars and conferences pertaining to employee benefits. He is actively involved in the Kellogg Rotary Club, youth basketball league and is a board member and player agent/coach for the local Little League program.  He and his wife of 20 years have 3 children and are life-long residents of North Idaho.    


CHRIS KEIM

BROKER

Chris Keim is a native of Idaho, and has lived in North Idaho for over 20 years.  He attended Lewis Clark State College and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He has worked in the hospitality industry for 15 years, and has managed two high volume local operations the last 5 years.


Chris is the latest addition to the Advanced Benefits Management team. In 2008 he was ready for a career change and found his new home at Advance Benefits Management.

Chris and his fiancé are looking forward to their October wedding and continuing to grow their family here in North Idaho. They are active members with area food banks as well as Habitat for Humanity.

KERRI STRAW
ACCOUNT SPECIALIST MANAGER

Kerri’s seasoned industry experience adds tremendous value to the team at Advanced Benefits Management and to the clients she serves.   Kerri’s background includes healthcare specialty clinics, medical provider offices, hospitals, and just prior to joining Advanced Benefits Management, spent 6 years working for both Blue Cross of Idaho and Premera Blue Cross of Washington.  As a Benefits Analyst, she serves as office & technical support including client contacts, monthly reporting, as well as other administrative functions.

Kerri resides in Spirit Lake, Idaho, with her husband and two kids.  She enjoys swimming, camping, and the great Idaho outdoors.
